In July of each year the Centers for Medicaid and CHIP Services announces updated figures for SSI. With that comes adjustments to some long-term care Medicaid numbers. A few of the numbers went up, but they are not a dramatic increase. The new numbers for Oregon are below.
Income cap to qualify: $ 2,205.00
Asset cap (for single person): $ 2,000.00
Asset cap (married, both on Medicaid): $ 3,000.00
Community Spouse Numbers:
Minimum asset limit for spouse: $ 24,180.00
Maximum asset limit for spouse: $120,900.00
Minimum monthly allowance: $ 2,030.00
Maximum monthly allowance: $ 3,022.50
Monthly penalty adjustment for gifts: $ 8,425.00
Monthly Personal Needs Allowance: $ 60.18
Shelter cost: $ 609.00
Utility Allowance: $ 449.00
